Scotts Valley Active Transportation

Active Transportation Plan

Active transportation is any mode of transport that is human-powered, primarily walking and cycling. The Scotts Valley Active Transportation Plan identifies areas in the city that the public finds unsafe or detrimental to walking or cycling and serves as a guide for future improvements in the City.

The 2021 Guide serves as an update to the 20212 Bicycle Transportation plan.

The Scotts Valley Active Transportation Plan was accepted by City Council on March 17th, 2021.

Safe Routes to School Plan

Scotts Valley's schools were evaluated as a part of the County of Santa Cruz's Complete Streets to Schools Plan. It includes a prioritized list of conceptual infrastructure improvements and recommendations to improve the safety of families engaging in active transportation trips to and from schools.
